Our Mission

A little over a year ago, Monet and I took a leap of faith and founded Galaxy Extreme Athletics. Before that, we spent two incredible years coaching a youth sideline cheerleading team, where we witnessed firsthand the joy and camaraderie that cheer brings to young athletes. It was during this time that we recognized a pressing need for an affordable competitive recreational cheer program, so we set out to create one. Our mission is clear: every child who wants to cheer should have the opportunity, regardless of age, skill level, or limitations. With a personal connection as a parent of competitive cheerleaders, I am deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where every child can shine. Together, we’re building a community that embraces diversity and champions every cheerleader's journey!

My cheer coaching journey began when Chana and I decided to team up and coach a youth sideline cheerleading team. It was a wonderful experience, but it also opened my eyes to the lack of affordable competitive recreational cheer programs in our community. My passion for cheerleading runs deep, especially for children with limitations. As a proud mom of a daughter who has been cheering for seven years and has autism, I understand the importance of creating an inclusive environment. I believe every child deserves the opportunity to cheer, no matter their age or skill level. At GEA, we are committed to ensuring that no one is turned away, and we strive to empower every young athlete who walks through our doors.

I’m Mkayla, and I bring over 15 years of experience to Galaxy Extreme Athletics as both a cheerleader and a coach. My journey in cheerleading began at a young age, and my passion for the sport has only grown since then. I’ve had the privilege of training and developing cheerleaders of all skill levels, which has given me a deep understanding of effective training techniques and program development. As a dedicated and accomplished coach, I believe in nurturing every athlete’s potential and fostering a love for cheerleading. In addition to my work at GEA, I also help train a local high school cheer team, where I continue to inspire young cheerleaders and share my knowledge of the sport.

At Galaxy Extreme Athletics, I’m excited to be part of a team that values inclusivity and empowers every child to achieve their cheerleading dreams. We’re creating an environment where all cheerleaders can thrive, grow, and celebrate their unique journeys in this incredible sport!

Hi, I’m Alyssa, and I’m excited to be part of Galaxy Extreme Athletics as a coach! I’ve been cheering since I was 9 years old, and now at 15, I’m passionate about sharing what I’ve learned with others. My journey in cheerleading has been incredible—I’m currently on a Worlds team and have won multiple national titles with my previous teams. I’m especially proud that I helped GEA secure a championship title at our last competition of the 2023-2024 cheer season!

I bring a fresh perspective and a ton of enthusiasm to our program. Cheerleading means so much to me, and I’ve dedicated myself to studying the sport and honing my skills. I owe a huge thank you to all my past and current coaches for believing in me, even when I’ve struggled to believe in myself. My hope is that one day, the athletes at GEA will feel the same way about me. I’m thrilled to help inspire and empower the next generation of cheerleaders and create a supportive community where everyone can shine!
